Why it’s personal with Tim
“I have a massive amount of respect for entrepreneurs. The deals I worked on early in my career were typically with founders that had second mortgages, often crippling personal guarantees, and awaiting a make-or-break capital injection or sale. Now, even though our clients are more mature and profitable, the level of risk is often daunting. In either scenario, when a client places their trust in me, I take it personally. There’s nothing more rewarding than talking to our clients after a successful capital raise or acquisition – typically their lives, and the lives of their children have been changed forever. I take that outcome personally.”
